AMS Achieves Investors in Human Capital

Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), which builds world-class resourcing capability for clients through outsourcing and consulting services, has achieved Investors in Human Capital (‘Inwestor w Kapitał Ludzki’) accreditation in its Poland operations. This prestigious emblem places AMS within the top companies in Poland for people management practices, employee engagement and HR infrastructure.

The Investor in Human Capital programme, now in its tenth year, is implemented by the Management Observatory Foundation under the patronage of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. It aims to reward ambitious organisations in Poland that actively provide the widest range of people management initiatives, human capital development and employee engagement practices. Czeslaw Ostrowska, Deputy Minister of Labour, who presented at the Awards Gala in Warsaw on 8 November called the honoured companies “pearls among the entrepreneurs.”

The accreditation is recognised locally as establishing companies as ‘employers of choice’, particularly as the management and investment in people can be a crucial factor in the success of Poland’s knowledge-based economy.

Investor in Human Capital was awarded to AMS following a rigorous, independent assessment including an expert audit, on-site visits and an employee opinion survey of AMS’s HR and management procedures and tools. Employee responses were unfailingly positive, including unprompted statements such as “AMS is a place where great people meet and they create an environment for talent to grow and personalities to collaborate on innovative solutions and inspiring ideas for the business.”

Vic Khan, AMS Director of Global Client Service Centres, adds, “Being one of 30 Polish organisations to be awarded Investor in Human Capital shows how committed we are to developing and empowering our employees. Our accreditation demonstrates that, as a trusted advisor, AMS carries out practices our clients would expect and consider to be fundamental in making people the foundation of our success.”
